Learning Links Borman Road is a strong supporter of paper4trees (link to www.paper4trees.co.nz).
This organisation is a waste minimisation and tree planting programme that rewards users with one native tree for every two cubic metres recycled.
For the 2018 year Learning Links Borman Road recycled 10,440 litres of paper and cardboard and earned six native trees for planting. With this recycling the centre saved 1.5 tonnes of paper from landfill, 12 cubic metres of landfill space and 8.28 tonnes of carbon emissions reduced from landfill.
