Summer Menu now being served and a way for families to see what it is

For a sneak peek of our Winter 2023/24 menus

Thanks to Claire Turnbull from Mission Nutrition

Here is what she has to say.

“Well done!

Learning Links has gone above and beyond to choose a selection of foods that are not only nutritionally well balanced, but that are also absolutely delicious!

As a qualified nutritionist with over 16 years’ experience, my goal is to help make healthy happen wherever I can…

And that’s why I was stoked to work alongside Learning Links and their head chef Karen to put together their awesome 2 week menu cycle.

I’m very proud of what Learning Links has done alongside our team at Mission Nutrition to sort this new healthier menus.

They’ve even gone the extra mile of making sure the children and staff will enjoy the food before making changes… just wonderful.”

Ministry of Health Guidelines

Based on building facilities and local body regulations, not all Learning Links Centres are able to provide a full meal service. Full Meals are provided in Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Taupo, and The Farmyard. In Horowhenua, Palmerston and Dunedin; families provide a lunch box for their child. For these locations we strongly encourage parents to provide food that meets the guidelines below. Please talk to your local Centre Manager if you would like any further information.

Reducing Food Related Risks

Ministry of Education require us to provide this document on ‘Reducing food related risks’ for all families enrolling in Early Learning Services. We highly recommend you read and review.
